Micro-Lok® HP

Crossroads C&I distributes Micro-Lok® HP Fiber Glass Pipe Insulation which is a high performance insulation made from rotary glass fibers bonded with a thermosetting resin and produced in 36" (0.92 m) lengths. Micro-Lok HP is used to insulate standard iron pipe and copper tubing. The 3-foot (0.92 m) sections are available plain or with a factory applied vapor-barrier jacket. The all-service (ASJ) vapour retarder jacket includes a longitudinal, self-sealing closure lap. The jacket system is adhered to each fiber glass section using a specially formulated adhesive to ensure jacket securement. A latex paint may be applied to the Micro-Lok HP jacket after installation.
The factory-installed tape system permits installation at ambient temperatures down to 20°F (-7°C), and will not soften or separate when exposed to high ambient temperatures and humidity.

Micro-Flex®

Crossroads C&I distributes Micro-Flex® Large Diameter Pipe and Tank Wrap which is a 2.5 pcf (40.1 kg/m3) density product made from high temperature, semi-rigid fiber glass blanket bonded to a flexible facing. Shipped in roll form, the unique fiber orientation gives Micro-Flex increased compressive strength, and permits close installation on round surfaces without reducing the thickness of insulation resulting in a loss of insulating efficiency. Both AP and FSK facings are intended for indoor use, and AP facing may be painted with a latex paint after installation. The ease of fit is particularly helpful on retro-fit installations where existing insulation may result in non-standard outside diameters. |
800 Series Spin-Glas®

Crossroads C&I distributes 800 Series Spin-Glas duct and equipment insulation which is manufactured from inorganic glass fibers bonded together with thermosetting resin. 800 Series Spin-Glas is available plain or faced in a variety of densities for use on systems which operate up to 450°F (232°C). For faced products, surface temperature should not exceed 150°F (66°C). AP or FSK vapor retarder faced material meets the requirements of NFPA 90A and 90B. Types 813, 814, 815 and 817 provide neat, square corners for an excellent finished appearance on duct and equipment systems. Spin-Glas can be readily cut with an ordinary knife and secured utilizing mechanical fasteners and/or adhesives. |
External Duct Insulations

For lining and insulating sheet metal ducts in HVAC systems, Crossroads C&I Duct insulation, in a variety of shapes, provide both high operational performance and better indoor air quality for building occupants. |

Extruded Polystyrene Foam
For your cold temperature work, Crossroads C&I fabricates and distributes XPS Extruded Polystyrene Foam.

The main component of this high-performance insulation system is extruded polystyrene, a rigid, thermoplastic foam produced in a continuous extrusion process. Extruded polystyrene is effective for insulating low-temperature systems as cold as -297°F (-183°C). The foam’s closed-cell, uniform structure, along with the naturally water-repellent nature of the polystyrene resin, provide moisture resistance. This characteristic allows the insulation to maintain its performance over time in moist environments like those in which ammonia refrigeration systems typically are used. The foam is odorless, non-fibrous, non-dusting and non-irritating. Using extruded polystyrene in an ammonia refrigeration system provides a number of benefits such as good thermal conductivity, water resistance and condensation control. |

Nomaco’s therma-cel® Pipe Insulation

Nomaco’s therma-cel® Pipe Insulation is a flexible, polyolefin, thermal insulation. It is used to retard heat gain and prevent condensation or frost formation on cold water plumbing, chilled water and air-conditioning lines. therma-cel Pipe Insulation also retards heat loss on heat water plumbing. therma-cel® Seam-Seal has a low thermal conductivity and very low water vapor transmission rate. This low density product demonstrates excellent thermal, physical and chemical resistant properties and has a broad service temperature range between -330°F and 210°F (-201°C and 99°C). It can be installed in commercial, industrial and residential insulation projects. Acceptable for use with heat tracing/heat tape. |
