High-temperature mat insulation is a specialized thermal solution designed to withstand extreme temperatures in industrial applications, which are commonly found in industries such as manufacturing, power generation, and petrochemicals.
High-temperature mat is typically made of refractory fibers, such as silica or alumina, woven into a flexible mat. In industrial settings, our high-temperature mats serve as protective layers for equipment, pipes, and vessels, to help with thermal efficiency and safety.
UtiliCore® insulation, often referred to as UtiliCore®, is insulation that is made with fiberglass needles in the form of a needled blanket. In its blanket form, UtiliCore® is available cut into sheets or delivered rolled up. It is most often used in high-temperature industrial and commercial settings.
UtiliCore® is pliable and lightweight, allowing it to offer premium thermal performance in different spaces due to its flexibility. It is commonly used as core insulation for removable and reusable industrial pipe covers and other industrial pads and blankets. UtiliCore® is easy to install and wrap around curved surfaces, making it a preferred insulation solution both in the field and fabrication shops.
Needled E Glass, also known as E Glass, is a mechanically bonded glass fiber insulation blanket with uniform density and thickness ranging from 3mm to 50mm. E glass can be used for continuous operation temperatures up to 1000°F (538° C). As a non-corrosive, non-combustible, and chemically resistant insulation solution, E glass is often a replacement for asbestos mats and other similar products.
E glass is known for its heat resistance, tensile strength, fireproofing, and anti-erosion properties. It is structured with tiny E glass fibers followed by needling, which results in numerous tiny holes that provide heat insulation and sound absorbency.
E glass is often used as an insulation solution for electrical equipment and in various applications in petrochemical refineries, valve cover fabrication, and in the automotive industry.
Super Mat insulation, often referred to as Super Mat, is made from E-glass needled felt in which the fibers have been embedded with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
Super Mat is available in a blanket-like form that is often delivered and stored rolled up for convenience and practicality. Super Mat is known for being water-repellent, flexible, unbreakable, breathable, and reusable. It is easily transported and stored and serves as a no-dust alternative to aerogel blankets.
Super Mat is commonly used in industrial settings for hot service applications where the insulation on piping and equipment must stay dry. Super Mat is easy to cut and fabricate, allowing professionals to create customized pieces of insulation for any project.
