PTFE Spacer Wrap, also known as Spacer Wrap, is a component of a non-contact insulation system made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene aka Teflon). It is manufactured by Canadian-owned Integrity Products.
Spacer Wrap is an impermeable membrane that allows you to create an insulation system with a unified and consistent 6mm air gap between the insulation and access pipe. With this separation, occurrences of water infiltration are drastically reduced and the air gap prevents soaked/wet insulation from coming into direct contact with the pipe, mitigating corrosion under insulation.
